Introduction

Stroud & District Homes Foundation Ltd (SDHF) was established in 1982 and provides care and support to adults with a learning disability across seven Supported Living Homes: Their aim is to provide high quality, individual needs led, person centred care and support and enable their service users to lead a fulfilling life in a warm, friendly, caring and safe environment.

The Brief

We were introduced to Stroud Homes by an existing client in the same industry as a recommendation following the work we had completed for them. They have multiple locations resulting in different suppliers and naturally different end dates. We would work to consolidate the services to a common end date resulting in better buying power for the client.

The Outcome

Gas and electricity supplies are in the process of moving to one end date. There are now only two supplies across the account; one for gas and one for electricity making their purchase ledger much neater.

The Conclusion

At the natural end date of each contract, we moved the supplies to one supplier each, with access to the invoices via the supplier portal allowing the client to self-service. We ensured each account had a correct final meter reading meaning the final invoice could be paid correctly.  Any credit left on the account was managed back to the client.

We’ve achieved combined savings per annum of approaching £10,000 for the client across their electricity and gas supplies, which as a charity makes an enormous difference to them.
